The MPC Beats 2.11.5 desktop software includes MIDI maps for popular Ableton, Arturia, Korg, M-Audio, and Native Instruments controllers. 


Downloading the Update

To download the MPC Beats 2.11.5 Desktop Software Update, log into your Akai Pro user account or through MPC Beats when prompted. For instructions on installing the update, please visit our knowledge base article here

Stability and reliability

  • Pops/clicks no longer occur with mono Drum/Keygroup programs
  • Samples can now be assigned to pads after sampling in Sampler & Looper modes
  • Crash no longer occurs when double-pressing stop in projects using certain plugins
  • First slice in Sample Edit no longer jumps to a point halfway through sample after stopping or processing
  • Occasional freeze no longer occurs when quitting MPC Beats on Windows
  • Pad perform root notes are now indexed correctly in the combo box
  • Changing modes whilst recording in the Looper no longer stops the recording
  • Sampler keep/discard popout now appears when recording is ended by changing modes
  • Deleting or Flattening a pad will now return the parameter values to their default state
  • Text now displays correctly when running MPC Beats in macOS 13 Ventura
  • Duplicating a plugin program will now retain edited values
  • Next Sequence mode will now show sequence names on the GUI pads
  • Arpeggiator no longer stops when changing plugin presets
  • MIDI Learn factory maps are now indexed correctly
