Within the MPC Software, you can export individual tracks, sometimes referred to as 'stems', from a project. This means that, during one export, all tracks from the project are exported as their own audio file, which can be helpful for the mixing and mastering stage of music creation. Engineers often prefer to have editing control of each audio file, in their DAW of choice. Alternatively, you may be collaborating on a track, and simply want to share the audio files back and forth.

In any situation, the guidance below will help you to export each track individually.

Firstly, within the main menu of MPC, select 'save' from the bottom of the display. Then, choose 'save audio mixdown'. You can also tap export when in song mode. Both options will open the mixdown menu:

To export tracks as individual files, select the 'explode tracks' checkbox, highlighted above. This will render each track within your project as its own audio file.

The remainder of the options allow you to further customise the export, for example by selecting the file format, bit depth and sample rate of the audio files to be created.

Lastly, select export, to save to a chosen folder location. It may be helpful to have a dedicated folder for your project export, for storage of all the individual tracks.
