In this article, we will cover the steps to warp your Keygroup samples.

Please note, this option is only available in Controller mode

1. Place you MPC in Controller Mode by tapping the microchip icon:

2. Load your Keygroup program into your MPC Project:

3. Enter Program Edit Mode:

4. Navigate to the Samples tab, you will find the option to enable Warp (and BPM Sync):

Important Notes:
  • When BPM Sync and Warp are both enabled, the sample’s BPM will be “locked” to the tempo of the sequence.
  • When BPM Sync is disabled but Warp is enabled, the sample will be independent of the tempo of your sequence. Use the Stretch field to lengthen or shorten a sample.

Please keep in mind that the Warp algorithms are very CPU-intensive and can result in audio drop-outs during playback if used too freely. Be mindful of how (and how often) you use the warp function.
