This MPC Series guide covers how to add audio files to your sequence, on an audio track. This can be useful for the playback of an audio file alongside other recorded material, or programs, as part of the sequence.

Firstly, please ensure that 'Audio' is selected from the bottom left of the main menu window, to select the audio track.

Once chosen, tap the grid icon in the left column, and the timeline and beat grid will appear. At the bottom of this window, you can select 'Browse Samples' to choose the sample you would like to add to the grid.

Please note, the sample will first needed to be loaded to the sample pool. You can do this by accessing the Browser, locating your sample, and then selecting 'load'.

Once selected, the sample will now appear on the grid, where you can manipulate its position to align with other elements of your sequence. Use the transport controls to play back the sequence, to hear the audio in place.
