Akai Pro MPC Series | How Do I Save A Plugin To Favourites?


In this guide, we will walk through the steps to save MPC plugin presets to favourites.

Stock Presets


1. Load a Plugin Track



2. Choose a plugin instrument.


In this example, we have chosen TubeSynth and loaded the Rich Swell preset



3. Once your plugin preset has been loaded, tap the Sounds tab. This tab will now change to Favorites



4. Tap and hold an empty slot to save the plugin preset as a favourite:



5. To clear a favourite, tap and hold the preset slot and tap clear:



Custom Presets


You also have the option to create your own custom presets and save them as favourites.


1. Select a plugin instrument, then tap on Edit Instrument



2. Once you have made your edits, use the Save icon to save the preset file to a location.



3. Go to the Sounds/Favourites tab. Tap and hold on an empty slot to save it as a favourite. 


 

If you already have a custom preset, load it using the Folder icon:


Once your preset is loaded, go to the Sounds/Favourites tab. Tap and hold on an empty slot to save it as a favourite.
