One of the many customizable behaviors of the MPC Series includes the ability to change the dialog box that greets you when starting a new project. This can be tailored to suit your workflow, for whether you like to load up a template project, demo, or simply start from fresh!
This can be changed from the preferences, under the 'project defaults' tab. The field is titled 'New Project Dialog':
Off - A new project will be empty with no preconfigured settings (except for the project defaults adjusted in this page).
Demo - You can choose to load a demo project (from several different genres) as a starting point, or an empty project.
Demo/Template/Recent - You can choose to load a demo project, a project template file, or an empty project (you must have a project in the Template File field of the Project Load/Save preference tab to select a template in this window).
If any factory content has previously been removed, sometimes this can impact the options available for the new project dialog. If there is anything that does not look the same as above on your MPC, please contact our support team here, who will be able to assist further!
