1. Connect an exFAT-formatted USB flash drive or SD Card to your MPC console.

2. Open your project, then go to Menu > Save > Project As. Under the storage section on the left side, tap your external drive, then tap Save.

3. Go to Menu > Browser > Places tab, tap the eject button next to your external drive, then disconnect the drive.

4. Connect the external flash drive to your computer and open it from within your computers file explorer.

5. You will see x2 files per project: a Project File (.xpj) and a Project Data folder. Drag and drop both files into an empty folder on your computer.

Note: If the files are not inside of the same folder, the project will not load correctly. Please make sure that both files are kept together at all times.

 6. Simply open the .xpj project file, then the project data file will automatically load with it. You will now be able to edit your MPC standalone project on your computer.

To put the project back on your MPC console, simply save the project, put both the .xpj project file and project data folder back onto an external drive, then connect the drive to the MPC standalone console and load the project from the Browse menu.
