Akai Pro MPC Series | Project Is Missing Plug-in Files


This article will serve as a guide to troubleshoot plugin errors that may arise when loading your project in Standalone mode.

Re-Activate Plugins


Project is Missing Plug-in files message will occur if a plugin(s) has been deactivated prior to loading the project:



To resolve this:


1. Ensure your MPC is connected to Wi-Fi/Ethernet

2. Log in to your inMusic Profile via Menu > Preferences > Activations

3. Then activate the 'missing' plugin(s)



4. Once done, go back to the plugin track and select the 'missing' plugin(s):



5. The 'missing' plugin(s) will appear again as normal in your project:



Further Troubleshooting


If you have re-activated your plugins, but are still getting the error - it is likely the MPC's RAM is maxing out due to the project load (in Standalone mode).


We recommend loading your project in controller mode with MPC desktop software. In this set up, your MPC will not use its own processor and RAM - It will use your computer's resources instead.
